Integrations

Integrations connect Libramen to outside systems that affect whether a service can be booked.

Use integrations when availability or qualification depends on live information, such as calendars, staff, rooms, equipment, stock, route capacity, weather-sensitive resources, or another business system.

How integrations are created

In Knowledge Studio, tell the agent what live information the service needs. The agent can create the integration placeholder and connect it to the right product, resource, or question in the service graph.

Then finish setup in the Integrations tab. This is where you enter URLs, connect accounts, choose webhook settings, pause or resume an integration, disconnect it, or delete it.

The agent should not ask you to paste private integration details in chat.

Integration types

Google Calendar

Use Google Calendar when staff, rooms, appointments, or resource availability already live in a Google calendar.

The Integrations tab shows a connect button. Click it and approve access with Google. After connection, Libramen can check the calendar when agents ask about availability.

iCal feed

Use iCal when your calendar tool publishes a feed URL. Many scheduling and calendar products can export an iCal feed.

Paste the feed URL in the integration row. Libramen uses it to understand busy times or unavailable periods.

Custom API

Use Custom API when live information comes from your own system or another tool with a structured connection.

This is useful for stock levels, staff rosters, vehicle capacity, room availability, or operational data that does not live in a calendar.

To connect it, enter your system's address and access key in the integration row.

Webhook

Use Webhook when your system needs to send updates to Libramen as things change.

The Integrations tab gives you a webhook URL to copy into your system. You can also choose signature settings when your system supports them.

Integration statuses

Integrations show their status in the Integrations tab:

  • Pending Setup: the agent created it, but you still need to connect or configure it.
  • Connected: it is active.
  • Degraded: Libramen has detected recent failures.
  • Paused: it is temporarily disabled.
  • Disconnected: access has been removed.

Managing integrations

From the Integrations tab, you can:

  • Connect or reconnect Google Calendar.
  • Paste or update an iCal feed.
  • Configure a Custom API integration.
  • Copy a webhook URL.
  • Change webhook signature settings.
  • Pause or resume an integration.
  • Disconnect or delete an integration.

The Availability tab shows connected calendars under each product, but setup and management happen in the Integrations tab. A connected calendar blocks out busy times on top of your hours; it never adds hours.
